In our attempts to make dashPunk all that it can be, we are opening up the blog to more outside contributions.
Not sure if you are ready to take that leap? Just jump in! Start posting to your personal blog over at the HQ. The best posts will be reblogged onto dashPunk. It is a great place to practice and get feed back from the community. If you would like to set up a contributor account on dashPunk, sign up here.
The Plan
Contributors
Guest bloggers have the ability to submit stories to dashPunk to be reviewed and possibly added onto the schedule for publication. We will work with our contributors to enhance their writing skills and to their mastery of their subjects. Sign up here.
Authors
…have the right to post anytime they want to the site. We have become comfortable with their writing style, and their ability to post on topic. They no longer have to wait for approval to post, so breaking news gets to the community quickly. We do ask that posts that are not time sensitive be posted as drafts so we can fit them into the post schedule.
Editors
…are a big part of the dream. As dashPunk grows, and we have enough money coming in to feel comfortable about it, we will promote authors to editors. These people will be paid for their work on the site, and as a result, they will have more responsibilities to post on schedule. The rate at which authors become editors will be determined by our ability to add staff, and the choice of who is promoted will be a combination of merits (site metrics for their posts and engagement with the community) and their ability/willingness to sign on board.
