The Invention of Lying: I like the “what if” put forth in this movie. I have enjoyed Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey's other comedy projects so that is a plus. I have concerns with the premise and the direction the movie could go in but once again Gervais is more socially aware so I doubt it would go all wrong. A renter.

Where the Wild Things Are: I loved the book as a child identifying with max the book really helped me understand that my parents do love me and only punish me for misbehaving. The visuals look so good. I can't wait to see the movie, it's a theater for me.

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant: It looks kind of funny and at least the vampires don't sparkle. I may have to watch it in the theater but more then likely it will be a renter.

Astro Boy: probably a renter
